  • How can I pay?
    We accept Visa, Mastercard, JCB, Eurocard, Switch Card, Sterling Travellers Cheques and cash. All accounts are payable on arrival.

  • What is check-in time?
    Your room is available from noon on your day of arrival - please advise us of your arrival time. Luggage storage is available if you arrive earlier. Later arrivals are accepted by prior arrangment.

  • What is check-out time?
    To enable us to ready the room for the next guest, check-out time is 10:30am. You are welcome to leave your bags with us until later in the day.

    Yes, when you check-out, you can leave your bags with us until later in the day.

  • How far ahead should I book?
    In order to accommodate you in your room of choice, please let us know as early as possible. Booking ahead is always advisable. Book 28 days in advance and get one of our special offers. See terms & conditions for details.

  • How can I keep in touch with friends and family back home?
    With direct dial telephones in every room, nothing has been easier. Day or night you can call family back home, or make use of our fax service. All you have to do is buy a calling card so you can use the telephone in your room or use our public phone for local calls.

  • What hours is reception open?
    We are open from 7am until 11pm. Later arrivals are accepted by prior arrangement.

  • Can I come and go from the hotel at any time of day or night?
    Upon checking in you will receive a key so you can enter the hotel late at night - so you can enjoy London's great nightlife!

  • Are hairdryers available?
    Hairdryers, adaptors, irons with ironing boards and umbrellas are all available at reception. Electrical voltage is 220/240V, it is not possible to use 110V appliances in the hotel.

  • What should I see and do in London?

  • What is your smoking policy?
    Smoking is not permitted anywhere in the hotel. Note that it is illegal to smoke in any public place in England from 1 July 2007.

  • Do you have a lift (elevator)?
    The hotel comprises 3 Victorian townhouses circa 1850 and does not have a lift. If you require a room on the ground or first floors please book well in advance. If you would like some free exercise just request a room on the fourth floor.

  • Where is the nearest laundry?
    Just 5 minutes away there is a laundry offering full service washes or coin operated machines.

  • Are there any restaurants nearby?
    Yes, many! There are dozens of local restaurants specialising in all nationalities of food from Italian to Malaysian and of course a few English pubs offering traditional fare. All these are just a couple of minutes walk from the Cardiff.

  • When is breakfast served?
    The traditional English breakfast is served 7am to 9am Monday to Saturday and 7:30am to 9:30am on Sundays. Continental breakfast can be arranged for early departures.

  • What rating are you?
    We are inspected annually by Visit Britain the British Tourist Authority. We have been awarded a 3 star rating for Guest Accommodation.

  • Do you have an internet connection?
    Wireless internet is available at a small fee. Please note you need to bring your own PC with you.

    We can arrange cots for babies up to 2 years old. Please enquire in advance.
